Is anyone aware of an App for Handwriting detection with Adam?

Are you referring to a kind of a app where you hand write on the screen and then it will type it out on a blank document? or something like that?

if so, i don't think that such a app exists yet, but it is a good idea. Also a kind of a feature/app where someone can talk freely and then it would write it out using a microphone.

I know most of the android phones (droid X) has these feature for text messaging.

Don't look for a handwriting app (harder to find) look for handwriting keyboard.

Diopen Is one that I have used and works Ok on my phone but is a little small. on the adam it might just be awesome. Remember that there are ways to try out apps before you buy.
