Looks like Steve Jobs is getting scared of the competition. The iPad sales do not look very promising. The audacity to dismiss other companies will be at his own peril. Mr. Jobs the adam is going to release very soon, so you better watch your back.

The sales figures mentioned in the article, also prove that even a big company issues in sales, distribution and production. So all those who where comparing the apple distribution model to be flawless stand corrected.

There are probably a lot of buyers waiting for the android tablets, even the ipad 2. The nook color looks real good. So if you mostly wanted an ereader, I can see spending half the money on that.....it has a micro SD and Ipad doesn't and nook is only a reader.............Tom C

My mother has the Nook Color and it's a nice little reader, except that my eyes get strained reading it for more than 10min. It doesn't support flash, and the apps are regulated to a crossword and soduku puzzle. It's supposed to be supported more in the coming months, and maybe my eyes are just going bad. It's pretty nice, otherwise though.

The Apple relies on marketing as it's only advantage. the IPad is over priced and under powered. The next IPad will have better specs and a bigger price tag. It is so predictable how Apple always does the same thing with it's products. Android tablets will take over the market and Apple will be relegated to it's niche of Apple followers. Apple products are like designer sneekers or sun glasses, you pay for a name nothing else. And really no flash support after all this time?

Not to mention the fact that the problem with iPad sales as discussed in the article isn't demand-- it's supply. Basically, it appeared that Apple couldn't make enough iPads to meet demand.

Nah, Im in my 20s with 20/20 vision and if I read too long on an LCD screen I get headaches, eye strain, and blurred vision for roughly an hour. I was thinking of picking up some computer glasses so I can sit farther back, Im hoping the ADAM helps eliminate that need. I don't understand how the nook color can be considered a reading device (unless you mostly read comics)

Doesn't it what Steve Jobs do? Sort of trash talk of what he doesn't like? I remember incorrectly but didn't he laugh at Samsung 7" tablet? It seems to me they are selling well, considering its price.

I tried ipad at store to get a feel of using a tablet because it's the only tablet displayed in the store. And I didn't like it and wouldn't buy it even it is at the same price with Adam. I'm sure it is perfect for some people, but not for some others, including me.

i think apple is pushing harder then ever on advertising the ipad. almost all the radio stations i listen to ( united states) have some kind of subliminal message how bad their radio hosts want the ipad and how you could win one too.
