So about 3 days ago my Adam was rendered useless. It has been bricked before. No changes are made, yet it refuses to work. When booting into android, I have a notification saying "Prepping SD card - checking for errors". After 20 or 30 minutes, it says "Damaged SD card - SD card damaged, you may have to reformat".
I've tried many different things and I'm out of ideas. I made a thread on tabletroms here and so far nothing has worked. At times it does come up as a drive in windows or ubuntu, but I have no option to format. The format option comes up after tapping the "damaged SD card" notification. I press format but nothing happens. If it shows in windows explorer and I right click it, the window will freeze.
If I try to change an option such as screen timeout, it freezes. It freezes when attempting nearly anything. Touching a capacitive button causes it to freeze. If it goes to sleep, it has a very high chance it won't wake despite remaining on. Cyanongen doesn't seem to freeze when opening or doing things, but the notification of "prepping sd card" doesn't appear to turn into "corrupted sd card"
This is ludacris. This is the 3rd time I've gone to turn it on and it just doesn't work. Does anybody have any ideas? Can ADB help me in this situation?
