Install Netflix on Your Unsupported Android Device, No Rooting Required
Whitson Gordon — Netflix is finally available on Android, but it only supports a few devices. Luckily, you can download a modded version of the app that will work with most Android phones.

We've shown root users how to get Netflix working on their device, but there's now a much simpler method that doesn't require you to root your device (or do any manual hacking). XDA Developers member ften has created a few modded versions of the Netflix APK that disable device check, meaning it won't give you the "Netflix isn't supported on your device message.

Head on over to the XDA thread linked below to download the package files. Before installing, you'll need to check the "Unknown Sources" box in Settings > Applications. The netflix-devicecheck-disabled.apk file should work on many devices, but if that version of the app crashes, the netflix-mod-2.apk version might get it working. You'll need an account at XDA Developers to download them, but it only takes a minute to sign up, and its a great resource for Android tips and non-Market apps, so we highly recommend it anyway.
