Newbie Sponsorship...?

One of the things that alway dogs many boards is the disparity between the "newbie" and the "grognard:" first timers vs. old hats. The Notion Ink Adam inspired the former and winkled out the latter, yet should NotionAddicts follow the same 'ole route as all the other sites? (Here I'm thinking of some of the opensource sites whereby if you've done your time you're a grognard, and asking a "newbie" question just shows that you haven't done your research so you can get the hell out of there. I'm not referencing any site in particular.)

Thus, my suggestion? Let their be a sponsorship program where the people that are more experienced with Android help out those that are less experienced.

Well, the most obvious suggestion is to poll members as to who are "experts" and who are, well, noobs. Then poll the experts as to how many of them are willing to sponsor a newb.

I am still a little confused on how this works. How does an expert sponsor a newb? Would the newb have to go to the expert for all his questions?
