Before I got my adam I was expecting it to relpace my lap top. Normally I would use my laptop for browsing, email, online streaming video, games, document editing, excel for data collection.
So far things are positive for me.
Browsing experiance is good but it required installation of flash and dolphin browser. NI browser is good but there are few bugs that need to be ironed out. Things I like in NI browser are good tab system, bookmarks. Cons zooming still has issues.
Email - I normally use browser to check my mail so no issues. I tried mailed it is still in alpha phase
Online streaming video - so far no issues both NI browser and dolphin in desktop mode opens and plays all the websites that matter to me (youtube, blinkbox, lovefilm, megavideo) flash is required though.
Games - I installed angry birds from majjj.com and I have been playnig it ever since. I dont think I will ever play WoW or starcraft in adam.
Lack of physical keyboard is something that made me go back to laptop. On laptop I can do good 41 wpm but on adam it ismax 10 wpm. That is why it is still not user friendly for document editing or spreadsheets. I also could not print from adam using samsung printer. Keyboard wise NI keyboard is much better than android one.
Overall build quality is good. I did not experiance as many force closures like others were mentioning.
