And for the record, I had a preorder in back in December, and I ended up cancelling it within 3 weeks. I really didint want to deal with their problems...and I do feel that I made the right decision. Hopefully NI can pick it up so they can stay in the game for the future.
I will have my Xoom no later than the 29th,We made made the right decision as you can see from all the defects and lies from NI.I order on 2/14 no tracking.

I also ordered a Xoom, getting it this Monday 03/28.Honest I went for Adam because I like to always root for the underdog that its always surprising people but with time I have realize that a good house no matter how beautiful it looks, state of the art without a solid foundation will eventually collapse.

NI is the foundation with Adam.Unfortunately all have seen that the Adam's foundation is shaky right now and not sure what happens next if I had even received my Adam.

Moto have a solid foundation and I know I will get better support so for now its xoom.I can live without pixel QI for now.Res wise moto is the best, yes mini usb is what it has but you can get away with it using a dongle, mini hdmi not an issue it has plenty of storage. Can't wait for mine and start developing some apps.

And, despite all the quality things about the Xoom, I still cannot shake my traditional response to it and i-gadgets: toy. I know that's slightly unfair, but it's just where I'm coming from. If I were to not get my Adam, then the advantages of the tablet form factor are a null consideration. In short, I might as well use a laptop and there are a whole suite of problems to that from the get-go.

Regardless, good luck to those that are going with the Xoom. All I can say is thank god it isn't made by Samsung.
    Adam: PixelQi LCD, Wifi + 3G (Ordered Feb-9, 2011; Delivered Mar-30, 2011)
    ROM: Beast 2.1.3
Apps: Too many. I love Market and Amazon...
Screen Protector: Oh how I love thee...

I can't wait, I was thinking of waiting for the HP tablet but the Xoom will do for now.

Archos 101 is crap I have one of those and I can count with my fingers how many times I have used it, I loaded it with the sde version and run uruk droid which makes it run much better.

About the Xoom its the right choice, I am not an i-fanatic so no apple for me.I went to best buy about 3 times just to use the xoom and the more I use it the more I am hooked to it more honeycomb apps are coming and it looks like you can do more with the xoom which can partially replace my laptop.

For those of you waiting for your Adam all the best, the form factor is nice ergonomically, screen is not the best, pixel qi is okay compare to the kindle.Honestly once you get the xoom in your hand and its just the two if you...you will love it.

As soon as I can use it for my own particular preferences, crazy4adam, I'm sure that I would love it. It's a long way from being that, though, which as noted above makes it little more than an expensive toy to me. On the other hand, I'm sure that for many it will be the solution to their needs.

Of course, now it just seems that we have a number of echoes going on.

I am sure you will love your Adam when it comes. However the xoom price is similar to the ipad2 32gig and its true multi-tasking not like the apple. For the screen quality and storage space its worth that extra $50.00 than the Adam $550.

Trust me if NI sorts its mess and Adam 2 or 3 is out I will re-consider.For now even if I had my Adam I will be worried for its future I am just not sure how NI will execute its promises....no offense to anyone just my opinion from a consumer standpoint.

No worries and thanks for not taking me calling your chosen device as a "toy" as a term to be jumped on.

With that said, what will you be using your Xoom for? In all this "I hate NI!" or "I love Xoom!" it seems that the idiosyncratic nature of the integration of the device into the life of an individual has been ignored. So, what are you using it for?

In fact, I'll think that I'll start a thread for that.
