Gingerbread (2.3) Release Date?
According to Rohan's latest Weekend Special blog piece.
A VERY big hint that Monday is official release date for Gingerbread?6th December is another big day for Android and you will find out how fast Notion Ink can work. (Eden is extremely compatible with 2.3)

This was rumored but it is awesome that Rohan added it and also that he thinks they will be close to using it.
It's about time if you ask me!! We've been waiting for Gingerbread for months... the little man on the lawn at the Googleplex is already over-baked from being in the sun for so long!
Having said that, and never being quite fully satisfied, I want Honeycomb on Adam ASAP

Hot off the wire it's official Gingerbread was released not more than 5 minutes ago so what do you think will Adam ship with 2.3
~.~ it seems that the os update is too fast to catch up. I am not sure whether it is a good thing or not. If the update is like the updates on Window OS, which can be automatically install (usually) without worry the compatibility, that would be great. For me, it seems that each time of the Android new version coming out, you should expect it is far from a satisfy os. The google are just try to getting more attraction over IOS or other os by getting out "new" Android version each few months.
