    Support wifi with EAP/TLS

Our corporate wifi is based on WPA2 Enterprise with TLS. It seems it relates to 802.1x EAP TLS in the Android world (Adam is my first experience with Android so I can only assume).

I installed my personnal certificate on the Adam and tried to connect to our SSID but it doesn't work. It seems I also need to install our internal root CA certificate but I haven't found how to do that. I only see a tool to install a personnal certificate, no root or authority (CA).

I'm worried that it's simply not supported on Android at all, which would be pretty bad because I'm sure it's an authentication method that is used elsewhere in business environment.

Anywone got 802.1x TLS working on their Adam or other Android device?

    Thanks.

a simple google search on "802.1x EAP TLS android" would give you a list of possibilities. Among them these 2.

    check it out.

It's like a mini skirt explanation. It covers just the most important things....

Thx for the reply. Actually, I'm following the google code thread already but none of the solution provided in there actually fixes my problem. The problem I'm having is related to Android's lack of support for Enterprise CA.

It simply doesn't work for WiFi EAP-TLS connectivity.

So for now I surrender and I'm waiting for development news from Google.

And because of that my company won't support Android devices on our corporate wifi network, only iOS and Blackberry OS, which both support Enterprise CAs.
