NI Adam vs Viewsonic G-Tab

Hi guys, I'm writing because I am in the middle of a dilemma :-)
I will be able to buy an Adam (PQ+3G) for 950 USD (Including taxes) from a guy who is willing to sell his.
On the other hand, I was thinking that I could simply get a Viewsonic G-Tab for 540 USD (With taxes).
I'm really leaning towards the G-Tab, in particular because I won't really need 3G.
I mean, why should I spend almost double the price for an Adam?
I am not trolling, I am sincerely asking you to "convert" me back to Adam, please :-)

950 is too much for adam. If you can wait u may be able to get for cheaper price via Notionink.com it can be bit of wait considering NI's ability to roll out a product. But if you want it urgent G Tab is prob reasonable alternative (but beware bad viewing angles, no 3g, not sure about hdmi output)

Dont buy either of them, Thats waaaaayyy over priced on both devices.

1. There are people on this forum that want to sell there Adam, do a search

2. As for the gtablet, I've heard that you can go into sears and get one that was returned for $250.

The Adam with LCD and wifi only is $375. You would be out of your mind to pay $950. Go buy a Moto Xoom instead if the money is burning a hole in your pocket.

By the way, the GTab only has 512 mb of ram while the Adam has 1 gig.

Yep,italian taxes suck :-P
The point is,if we exclude PQ there is no real reason I can think of that justifies the extra money :-S

Ok,I realized the price would actually be 800 USD...which is the price of a Xoom..
What do you guys think?Would Adam still beat Xoom even on the same price?

I returned my G-Tab after a week because the screen was unreadable in portrait mode. It's not a bad device, but it has some quirks (some are similar to the Adam's quirks). The biggest issue was the awful screen, and then there's the lack of hdmi, second usb and 512mb of ram.

Between the Adam and the Xoom, I'm not sure. The Xoom looks awesome, and I went with the Adam mainly because of the price and the PQ screen.
