For all the people out there with Pixel QI is there a touchscreen issue?
Hi, Lights! Welcome to NotionAddicts!
Your question is very vague; can you be more specific? e.g. what kind of touch screen issue are you referring to?
Thanks, Is there any areas where the touchscreen with pixel qi does not register like the sides of the screen?
Lights you really need to search amigo!
There are so many threads and convos on this.
A few users experienced the issue while others haven't. All the issues seem to have been on Pixel QI's. Nobody has noticed an LCD with the issue yet.
I have a Pixel QI and touchscreen is not good, its very hard to touch some small controls as X button on browser's address bar (I must tried many times to touch it), the keyboard is not good also
I have got force close issue for some times
I would rate it 7/10 since there is such a lag sometimes, the top 1cm of the screen is very hard to get to react, and small text/hyperlinks are difficult to get at (I usually end up hitting the on above or below it, especially in Browser).
Most uses its fine and even works well with my stylus. I also have the screen protector on so I don't know if that would hinder it.

For me, too, the touchscreen on my Pixel Qi wifi model is less than ideal. I often have to press my thumb on the glass to get the touch to register, and it makes using the onscreen keyboard difficult. It's the worst near the edges and corners of the screen. I do have the screen protector on (matte) and that might be a problem for it, but I haven't taken it off yet as I don't fancy buying another screen protector.
Anyone have a fix for this?
I received my Pixel Qi+3G last Friday. I have had no hardware issues with the machine at all. My Pixel Qi is very touch responsive (no screen protector yet, I'm putting it on today). I like the colours and the readability outdoors is all I was led to believe.
