Hi
I have been using the Adam for awhile and this is my observation. The Adam designates internal memory as SDCard and the external (removable) memory as SDCard2 < this is your MicroSD of various capacity.
The problem is ALL apps/games install to SDCard by default. This cannot be changed. So the only way to move the app to your MicroSD is via. a 3rd party app such as App 2 SD BUT there are limitations as not all apps are updated to be transferred to your MicroSD. The developer of these apps must add in this functionality. If not the app will remains on SDCard which is internal memory.
This is where it got interesting. I downloaded some Gameloft HD games and everything goes on internal!! Even the >500mb data pack for each game must be on /SDCard. This is ridiculous .. why can't the data pack be on SDCard2 which is my 8Gb MicroSD? I downloaded a comic reader and it doesn't 'see' my external storage where all my files are. Only the music/video player managed to scan and locate files on my external card.
There are ways to get around this though which 'tricks' the system into putting everything on your MicroSD. I have yet to try them out as I will have to start from scratch again ..![]()
