I just received this email from Notion Ink. I guess I was one of the unlucky one : (


Greetings from Notion Ink!

We understand that you have been eagerly waiting for the arrival of your Adam. However, we regret to inform you that a fraction of our touch-screens got damaged during transportation due to which your shipment has been effected.

The Chinese New Year holidays that are in the first week of February further add to the delay. However, our touchscreen partner, Sintek, have agreed to work through the holidays and deliver the screens as soon as possible. We are afraid that until we receive these touchscreens, your device would not be ready for shipment.

The estimated date of your shipment would be 14th February 2011 (Buffer included).

Check your spam folders, as this is the first email from Notion Ink to hit my spam folder (no idea why), as every other email received (pre-order, etc) came through fine.

"Notion Ink noreply@notionink.com" is the email address this originated from.

Patrikc8, I share the same sentiment at this point. I was less than 14 minutes behind Greg with my pre-order, yet I will be waiting nearly a month longer to receive my shipment :-(

it seems that the broken displays are the pixel qi .....
i'm thinking about to cancel my order. That is not normal , to received an email one whole day after estimated shipping date. And than they say , that my order is one of a little charge that is broken.
And at the moment i can't believe that the 14th Feb is the latest date to ship.

It will be interesting to see if folks from the original Feb shipment dates actually get their tablet's shipped before mine, as I was one of the Jan 9, then 15-22, then 29, and now Feb 14th.

LCD wifi here. It is the touch screens. Not the screens themselves that are damaged
