3G Settings help needed

I just spent almost 3 hours at an AT&T store trying to get my new 3G SIM card (200mb per month) to work with my Adam.
We tried different configuration and even switched plans around but nothing availed.
I've turned off the wifi for now. Right now my Adam shows the 4 full bars on the right notification bar, and when pulled down it says AT&T. However, when I open Browser or Dolphin Browser HD I get "No network connection, Browser cannot load this page because there is no internet connection."

Most of what we did at the AT&T store was change the Access Point settings but I was never able to get on the internet.

I tried my adam with my T-mobile sim card, and it worked pretty easily (since it was t-mobile, i only got EDGE at around 150 kbs).
What I did was:

1) Turn off wifi to make sure 3g was working
2) go to the settings, and then to wireless and network settings
3)click on network operators
4) Search for networks

It took a while, but it then showed the available networks. From there I chose T-mobile, and it connected. You might have to close and open the settings a couple of times before it actually finds the network. good luck

I think the problem is your location is "undisclosed" in your profile so the ATT network can't find you. Seriously I hope you get it figured out as I will be doing the same thing when I get mine next week.

Which 3G version/frequency did you order? Could you actually drag anything in with EDGE? :P (could you call?)

This may or may not be helpful (or even possible), but in any case, I'll try to help.

Go to settings, wireless/network settings, mobile network settings, access point names, hit the menu button thing to make the menu pop up and choose new APN.

I've selected each network manually, but got the same results each time. It would say "registering on AT&T" then "registered on network" each time. I tried to get online but nothing, turned it off and on, still nothing.

Is there some specific settings I need to put in for "add APN"? I just haven't gotten very far yet with this.

Yeah, don't do the auto thing, try to add a new APN and manually enter those settings I posted, it's worth a shot, even if it doesn't work. I had trouble with my X10 not working with the automatic AT&T settings and had to enter those manual settings.

ive had a lot of problems with att... their serviceonce activated may take up to a week to get fully working and internet provisioned. also, make sure your time is set to the right time, you might have to do this manually.

Trovatrice: I got the US band Version (the one that works with ATT). The internet was just slower than what I'm used to, but it was perfectly usable. I was browsing forums and other sites. Tried downloading a file through drop box, but that took a little longer

I entered your APN settings, saved, had to reset because it crashed. When I went to search for a network operator, the first time nothing came up so I selected auto and it worked with the 3G symbol finally coming up. I did go back and search again with 2 AT&Ts coming up (one had DR on the end). I selected the just AT&T and it connected.
Connects to the internet now in the browsers.
