This may not be the place for me to write this but here goes anyway. As I read the statements/reviews from the recipients of the 1st generation Adams, I have to wonder if I am the right candidate for ownership of the beloved Adam. I am reading how all the new owners are tweaking here and installing there, the different things necessary for optimum enjoyment and usability of the device. I will also post this on the Notion Ink Forum. I think I might be better off with a machine that is more generic and has much greater user friendly outlets. What is your opinion?

Hi,
don't know what is in NI's Guide Book that comes with Adam.
There is a Wiki-style Adam site which has been set up replete
with the structures available to build a great adjunct to anything
NI provides.
Of course you are looking for info at this juncture. There are
little tips dropped in various reviews and dialogs. Those should
be incorporated into this site. Eg. You need to set the date and
time before Adam will synce with Wi-Fi.

The Notion Ink Adam Guides and Tutorials forum is where How-To's can be posted; I don't see the need to create a separate forum.

We will discuss creating an App Reviews section and I will update this post when a decision is reached.
