WARNING - Do Not Update Your Adam!
There is a problem with the update. The whole update file is not being downloaded. Notion Ink is working on the problem and will have it resolved soon. But for now, be sure to postpone your update. You will be receiving an official email from Notion Ink soon stating the same.
So fanboys, lets see how you will get out of this one, with out acknowledging that Rohan and NI, actually are able to make mistakes! !

I am not a fanboy and I cannot see were the post on notioninkfan.com says anything about bricking the Adam that was updated.

When I replied there were only three comments to that post and there was no mention of bricking. Then when the word "bricked" shows up it is by an Anonymous commenter.

You are right, it is posted by an anonymous, but ikbenben has posted further down, with out correcting the statement, which kind of points in the direction of the statement being correct.
Don't misunderstand me, I am REALLY not happy about it and I do hope that NI will get it fixed as fast as possible. I would hate to be one of the lucky ones who have received their Adam today and then have this happening right out of the box.
There a post on NI blog (Greg said he posted there also!), but as usual is not at the end, but inserted somewhere in between other posts. You have to dig to find it. However it's a post by Greg, not an official statement from Rohan.

I am sure this is being worked on. This is what the Mini USB is for. I file can be sent out to the users and run ona PC that reimage the unit. This is done with Phones also if Updates don't work or fail in the middle.
