Oooh, this should give the XDA guys a good head start. Nothing like a complete system image, boot image, and flashing utility to get the fire roaring.

    3) Your shipment was delayed multiple times?
    4) NI removed features of the Adam after you paid for it?
    5) The Adam came with a power supply that doesn't work in your country?
    6) The Adam might break if you do a software update?
    7) The wifi/keyboard/etc doesn't work very well?

Seriously, some people just like to whine. You should be grateful Rohan was gracious enough to allow you to give him your money.

Don't worry, the cult will be here to "deal" with you soon.

Woohoo This baby is going to make the techies and hackers totally happy. Those that expect everything to work instantly, not so much. I'm pretty confident this Adam guy will be doing some amazing things. Maybe not right out of the box, but over time it will rock and roll!

If Adam is durable like my G-Tablet (also Tegra 2) then it is virtually unbrickable

DennyBee, this is peanuts compared to what you may have to do if you "soft brick" a Windows Mobile phone with a bad update from XDA Developers...

Rohan Shravan said, on January 25, 2011 at 19:44 That’s what the update is supposed to fix, but few reported the brick issue. Technically, the user must wipe their data before installing the update, but that’s too much to ask for. We are pushing the update asap. The updates are pre-installed in all the other shipments, but first.

The firmware update they posted is using nvflash. This is the same low-level APX mode that the Gtablet has. Trust me, that's a good thing.

It means that, as long as you can master how to setup APX mode on your PC, the device is virtually unbrickable. You can completely wipe your recovery, bootloader and kernel and STILL bring the device back to life.

that's great to hear, do you think this means that the adam will be easy to root and get clockwork mod on like the g tablet?
