Just had a thought, I want to listen to songs on my adam! Does the adam have a 3.5mm headphone jack? Online some websites i see specifications saying there is a headphone jack, some others its not listed at all.
Just asking to make sure.

On the newest photos of Adam, you can see a headphone jack on the right of the Adam. So yes, it should be there![]()
look here: http://www.notionaddicts.com/forums/...-Adam-s-status
I have other question about its specs - Will it have an option to make calls, like in Galaxy Tab? I saw a clip on Youtube which shows adam in action, and in options there was something about calls, but i couldn't find any confirmation on it. Does anybody have some info about it?

Havent really heard anything about calling capabilities. But its ok 4 me, I wont use it anyways.
Yes, I believe a combination of skypeout (2.99 per month unlimited calls in the USA/Canada), google voice, and a 3g simcard make this into a good mobile phone. As long as you have 3g u can get called. google voice app gives unlimited texts/voice mail and a constant number between that and any other phones you use. For skype u will need the hacked apk to get 3g calling but it's easy to get online. If you guys need it I can even throw it up on my server.
I personally am gonna just use it as basically a wifi phone that I bring around with me. Probably get a vibrating bluetooth headset to keep in my pocket(haven't found a great one yet though...)
Google voice should work and as above mentioned Skype. Also with Gingerbread Google Voice is to be improved and open up to new features. now on the 3G versions the carriers may want to locked down.
This should work for a headset: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/cellphone/7830/
I have one for my regular cellphone. For some reason, people look at you funny when you're walking down the street with it. There's a bluetooth version but a lot of reviewers complain about the sound quality.
lol awesome!
haha ill take a bt one instead don't wanna be ousted from society...
But I was thinking a vibrating headset so you can keep the tablet in your backpack but still answer calls without making noise or taking the tablet out. I think you could voice dial too
This is what we'd need in a bluetooth headset
vibration alerts
volume rocker
voice dialing (might just be built into android, don't know how this would work...)
You'd also want long battery life cause it'd be your primary way of calling people, (unless you wanna hold a 10inch tablet to your head)
So to set things straight, this is the final specifications to let guests visiting the site.
Anyone know of anything deviating from this?
I wonder if the 3.5mm headphone jack is going to be a two or three channel jack. Would be nice if it is three so that I can use headphones with mic for Google Voice calling. Would prefer not to be limited to use only the built-in microphone since I would have to plaster my face to the Adam when I make calls!
Not a huge deal but it's too bad that the memory card slot isn't regular SD, as oppsed to microSD since SD cards are cheaper and for the size of the Adam, it wouldn't have been a big deal.
Just updating this thread of the new specifications.
* Some differences i noticed: since the last time they showed the specifications....

• Length: +30mm
