Official Notion Ink CES 2011 Discussion

UPDATE: This thread has been renamed the Official Notion Ink CES 2011 Discussion. Please post all CES 2011 information related to Notion Ink in this thread.
As more useful information is added, I will add that information to this post, to make following Notion Ink at CES 2011 simpler and easier.

Looks like Rohan is at CES.

He's updated the blog with some new pictures.

(Note: I attempted to post the pictures but they were giant and broke my browser so if somebody knows how to resize appropriately, please post).

As skeptical as I have been about the Adam the past couple months, that's one slick looking tablet.

I hope to see a lot more about the Adam in the coming days. I'm curious as to how it'll compare to Xoom (the moto tablet).

    Edit: Hands on with Slashgear

Suggestion for mods: would it make sense to keep all CES info in one thread to avoid the inevitable deluge that's about to flood the boards?

Sheesh, those screens are still digitally put in. Far from "straight from the camera."

Yeah-the blog comments are going crazy over the shopped screens.

NVIDIA's press conference is at midday today (Wednesday 5th), I wonder if we'll see anything about Notion Ink and the Adam there.

But they're a start up! You can't compare them to others!

    Viewing angles or Photoshoot?

The only reason I can think of for photoshopping the screen part is either viewing angles, or the photoshoot was done with a switched off Adam, or the photographer did not know how to compensate for the refresh rate of the screen!

Many adverts do use simulated screens just because it's easier to control the content (especially in video where you're trying to make something fit a particular timing) and also because you can use the same basic image for multiple purposes. But if you claim an image is straight from the camera apart from resizing then that is a bit naughty IMO even in a blog.

Can someone explain how CES works? If CES starts tomorrow, then can't someone from the press just walk in and look and play with the Adam? If so, how can he do a big release? Is it simply that he won't show the product until a set time when he does some press conference? Nevermind this question, see here.

What's up with the updates every forthright? I haven't seen any.

How can you see, i.e. what clues do you have that something is photoshopped? In particular, how can you see it with these images?

Also, which websites are you guys using to follow CES?
