ZAGG invisibleSHIELD for Adam

I would love to see ZAGG come out with an invisibleSHIELD for the Adam. Specifically one for full coverage like the one I use for my ipod touch.
I don't like bulky cases like most hard or rubberized cases and the silicone cases are mostly worthless in terms of protection so, invisibleSHIELD seems to be a great option.

I did email them to ask if they'll be making one but I doubt I will hear back since the Adam isn't even out yet.

This would be a nice accessory. Though a solid screen protector would work with for now.

I believe in an interview Rohan said it comes with a screen protector.

I didn't know that there was another company that made these. After looking at the sight I see that they do offer custom sizes which would be great if either company doesn't make a size specific for the adam.

These are much stronger than most screen protectors though, and I would really like the back to be protected too.

besides.... doesnt the adam come with some sort of gorilla glass like coating? I saw it in one of the earlier vids and the specs said it was scratch resistant. I'll probably put a protector on the glass but man they've always made my displays look and feel a bit weird

I've also written to Ghost Armor to get them to think about making their product for the Adam

I got a reply back from ZAGG, basically stating that they're not making a shield for the Adam.

"In regards to your email, we apologize for the inconvenience. At this time, we do not have an option for that product. We do release new designs frequently, so feel free to check our website or contact us for updates."

My concern with screen protectors for the ADAM is - how well will any film stick to a matte glass surface? On a smooth, polished glass screen, you get 100% contact between the film and the screen, so the image transmission is good, but if the glass surface is frosted, I don't think it will work as well, if at all (??)

gremlin, I'm not sure...we will have to wait until we can get our hands on the Adam and feel the surface for ourselves. NI is including a screen protector in the box, so it must be possible to use one...

And we're not sure if the glass itself is matte, or if the screen protector is matte and the screen is gloss. There's been discussion about this in another thread due to a post on a website during CES.

Good point on the glass surface - I presumed from what has been said (and the vids) that the glass was matte, but maybe that is wrong, and its the screen protector that is matte. If that is the case, then you could have the option of either a gloss or matte screen, which I guess would be more flexible.

Hurry up and wait (to see) I guess!

My Translation of that is a bit different. As I read it , it says "they don't have an option for it at this time, but they do make new designs frequently.."

I like StealthGuard, they are similar to the Zagg. But they didn't even reply when I "suggested" they design one for the Adam. Took them a while to get one out for the Nook Color.

Gonna check the screen specifications and ask Zagg if they have another design already made, that might be a good fit.

I am gonna try again now that the device has started shipping.

The glass is not matte. there is a screen protector that comes with Adam that is matte.

No thanks ... I flicked the Invisishield off my N1 and now use
Wrapsol. Neat!
