(PC & Tech Authority March 2011 issue, page 35)

In the March issue of PC & Tech Authority (http://www.pcauthority.com.au/), Australia's premier computing magazine, has mentioned the Notion Ink Adam. The issue's feature for March is a section, titled Year of the Tablet, which compares twelve tablets - one of which is the Notion Ink Adam. PC & Tech Authority's write-up provides some details about the Notion Ink Adam and rates the Adam an overall of 5 out of 6.

Well, the picture of the Adam is a really old one. That's really bad to show a wrong picture. Additionally of course Adam runs with Android 2.2, not 2.3. And it's right that Genesis will come but Adam will also have Google Market Access after updating to Honeycomb. But still it's good that they at least mentioned the Adam. :)

I'm not too surprised about the picture used. I keep on telling people about the Adam tablet, but emphasize for them to look at the Engadget video from CES 2011. If they look at Google Images they will be flooded with pictures of all different hardware revisions through the development, so it's a little confusing.

I guess it's confusing for tech magazines as well.

Ah, very cool article. Now I wonder what it will take for them to mention us Notion Addicts lol

I also just found this article in International Business Times (http://hken.ibtimes.com/articles/120772/20110310/apple-ipad-2-notion-ink-adam.htm). They give a good side by side hardware comparison with the iPad2. It's nice to see that some people haven't ruled out the Adam even though the reporter might want to spell check his article before posting it next time. ;)

They talk about the poor customer service.

It is also quite evident that the author is not really speaking from experience but is primarily parroting materials. Perhaps another reason for NI to send appropriate the tech forms an Adam with appropriate caveats about the software, the HC 'port, etc.

This article is a year old... in the tech world that was 7 years ago. Honestly, Notion Ink doesn't need any more good press... which will attract more customers... to wait with those of us who are still waiting for an Adam. I'm ok with the wait for now, because Notion Ink keeps improving the Adam. If I wait long enough I will get a PixelQi with the new Kal-El chip and other upgrades.

Hi !
i 'm new here. Just put my name in a pre list of pre-order and impatient to have it Just to be sure that Adam is also a good machine as australian press tell it... i just wan't to tell you that in France, in some forums, comments about the first Adam are not so good : lots of bugs, and... the screen which have not the same "luminosité" everywhere, and reflecting the sun etc.
Well, it is quite scary for me : could you make me more "confiant" ?
sorry for my english...
