In my experience firefox for android in general is obsurdly slow, and scrolling on pages is even worse. And it doesn't support flash at all.

The update from this week definitely sped things up, but the lack of flash completely kills it as an option for me. I guess we have to remember that it's still in beta. Flash support can't be that far away.

You should try Xscope 6. Its my weapon of choice. Full flash support, Awesome copy/paste implementation, tabed browsing, you can change user agents, etc etc.

I just got the new Firefox Mobile 4 that came out today from the FTP server: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android

Still no Flash, but it synced with my desktop nicely :)

I have Firefox on my Adam and like it very much. Scrolling needs improvement, copy-paste (desperately) needs to be added, and speed improvements are necessary. Add-ons are a plus though :)

+1 on all counts

Those problems are still present in today's stable release :( Hopefully they will have a swift release schedule so that we can have a good competitor to Dolphin HD soon.

I have tried a few different browsers, and I must say Dolphin HD is unbeatable (for now at least).

Yes, it was - Firefox 4 beta.

Yes, I was very disappointed to see those problems weren't fixed. I have Dolphin HD as well and it's wonderful! However, if Firefox were to address the issues I pointed out above (and finally gets Flash Player support), I would likely switch over :)

I changed the system to allow non-market place apps. and it allowed me to install flash on firefox with no problems.
