Mine went on smooth. I have one tiny air bubble on the bezel. No big deal.
Albert posted a video on the hacks site and he is right. The screen protector does make the screen look grainy. It however, does help a lot with glare and fingerprints.
It's a personal choice. Mine is staying on...for now.

the grainy characteristic is from light refracting through the plastic. it looks like a sparkly rainbow in white scenes huh?

thats kind of the trade off i guess with a screen protector. hows the responsiveness for you after application? texture feel ok?

Just put mine on as well. Hasn't changed responsiveness. But the screen was a fingerprint magnet before, now its alot more sanitary.

If you use a Rain-X wipe, like you use on the car windshield, it really helps cut down on the fingerprints. 80% reduction on my HD2. I mean on the screen, not the cover. Used to clean my screen daily. Have not cleaned it in weeks.

I think the issue with grainy screen will less for LCD version as compared to Pixel Qi version. We won't find that out until people get their LCD version Adam.

Yea, after I watched Alberts video I realized something. It really was a smart move for notion ink to "NOT" make the screen matte itself. In the end it seems like Its a personal preferance, so they gives you the option of having the screen be matte or not. Just like they made the decision to make a Pixel qi and LCD variant. I LIKES OPTIONS.

Based on the "update" there is still a matte layer on the inside of the screen(I do not know why as it would only refract the light coming from the display to the viewer while all glare is reflected by the mirror on the outside). So I wouldn't so much call a "matte screen" optional(unless we assume Rohan was talking out of his rear about the matte surface on the inside).

I messed up my first installation and got dust on the protector trying to fix it. I thought I was screwed. Google research helped me figure out a possible way to redeem myself and i happened to have the supplies needed. A bottle of 91% rubbing alcohol, an old invisibleshield installation kit, and a lot of patience, and i now have a 98% perfect screen protector (after a few tries and an hour of testing my patience). There's only 1 tiny bubble due to a rebellious speck of dust andsome spots on the edges where the protector doesnt seem to want to stick.

Hey thanks for the suggestion! It works great. I've become frustrated with screen cover.
It cut down on glare, but made the screen somewhat soft. I ended up ruining my screen protector by removing then trying to re-install.
Hopefully the Rain-x won't hurt the screen. I think it may be some kind of hard plastic, not actually glass. But not positive on that.
Anyway, thanks.

Hoping someone out there starts selling these for the adam soon, as I can see myself needing a few of these.
I have an invisi shield kit on hand and will use that to help apply the protector as well.

It was awful, though it did settle down over time. I've just gone over to a Skinomi so time will tell. I prefer the clear glossy look of my wife's iPad ... even with the beaut Belkin screen protector on.
I had a Zagg Invisishield on my N1, but got rid of that after it yellowed and put on Wrapsol. That's the best for my money. If they produce one for the NI Adam, I will be on it like a shot. I'll keep you posted.
